Product & Sales Specialist – Tool Changers

The Product & Sales Specialist focusing on Tool Changers will work to further develop our business in the automation industry in North America. Our new colleague is expected to assist the day-to-day sales operations of the company and provide technical service and application support to our customers, distribution partners and local sales team. This position is fully remote for our US office.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist day-to-day sales and connected operational activities with assigned customers. Prepare and follow up on quotations.
  • Defining specifications for tool changers in automotive and pharmaceutical OEMs.
  • Develop and enhance relationships with established customers, distributors, and prospects.
  • Build-up and extend relationships with key customers
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold initiatives.
  • Assist regional sales managers to provide technical support while they are on sales calls to prospects, dealers, and customers (OEMs, Key-Customers, Target accounts).
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers by phone, email, site visits and video conferencing.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director/Director of Sales to achieve set forecasts and sales objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technical sales for industrial products focusing on assembly, automation, and robotics.
  • Technical aptitude towards various robotics and automation solutions.
  • Track record of accountability and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Preparation of account development plans and meeting reports.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to support distributors
  • Self-motivated, highly organized individual.
  • Solid proficiency with MS Office and CRM software.
  • University degree in Engineering or comparable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
