Retirement farewell for Martin Maier

The official retirement of Martin Maier took place on May 16, 2024. The retirement ceremony was attended by Martin Maier himself, company founders Günther and Martin Zimmer and Managing Directors Jonas Zimmer, Michael Basler and Achim Gauss.

Martin Maier joined Zimmer GmbH Technische Werkstätten 25 years ago as a trained master electrician. The collaboration began ten years earlier, when he worked for Streck Oppenau as a specialist in machine networking with control electronics. With his in-depth specialist knowledge and passion, Martin took over the electrical engineering division and built up a department that now has numerous employees.
Martin Maier's extraordinary achievements and his contribution to the sustained success of the Zimmer Group were recognized during the farewell ceremony. His tireless commitment and his ability to find innovative solutions in the field of electrical engineering will be remembered by superiors and employees alike. His positive attitude, skills and knowledge were also greatly appreciated by customers and business partners outside the company.
