Trainee family day at the Zimmer Group

Insight into the company for the whole family

On November 10, the Zimmer Group in Rheinau opened its doors for the annual Trainee Family Day. A total of 35 visitors took part in this special day, on which family members of the new trainees had the opportunity to get to know the company better.

The day began with a warm welcome from Jonas Zimmer, who not only welcomed the attendees but also gave an interesting insight into the development of the Zimmer Group. Afterwards, dual student Helena Vogt provided information about training opportunities, courses of study and the many benefits the company has to offer.

The highlight of the day was an extensive tour of the two sites in Rheinau. At various stations, the second and fourth-year apprentices proudly presented the company's various products and gave an insight into their day-to-day training.

The family day culminated in the company restaurant, where trainers, trainees and their families met to chat over delicious burgers and drinks. In this informal atmosphere, the families were able to clarify open questions, find out more about training at the Zimmer Group and make contacts with the trainers.

The Family Day has a special significance for the Zimmer Group. After all, the company has been in family hands for generations. This year's event was once again a complete success. It not only provided an informative platform for the new trainees and their families, but also strengthened the community within the Zimmer Group. The Trainee Family Day will remain a firm fixture in the company's event calendar in the future.
