Gripper for cylinder heads
Challenge
When loading and unloading tooling machines, the vastly different geometries of the components needed to be taken into consideration.
Solution
The solution used was Z-compensation as collision protection and a GH series standard long stroke gripper. The parts are secured using a spring integrated into the gripper.
