Zimmer Group honors long-time employees

Gaby Lasch and Wolfgang Lüftner retired

With great recognition and gratitude, the Zimmer Group bids farewell to two long-serving employees in their well-deserved retirement. Gaby Lasch and Wolfgang Lüftner have contributed significantly to the success of the company through their dedicated work and loyalty to the company over many years. In a festive atmosphere and in the company of management, superiors, the personnel department and the works council, the long years of service and commitment of the colleagues were honored. In doing so, they looked back on the decades of time they had spent together at the Zimmer Group.

Gaby Lasch joined the Zimmer Group on November 13, 1989 and worked in the linear technology production department (KBS) until her retirement on May 31, 2023. As a production assistant, she performed her duties with a high level of competence and commitment. Her direct supervisor Reiner Hauß paid tribute to her outstanding work and important role in the company over 33 years of service.

Wolfgang Lüftner also took his well-deserved retirement on May 31, 2023. After an impressive tenure of more than 31 years with the company, he most recently served as a foreman in the Handling Technology Systems department. The Zimmer Group would like to thank him for his many years of service and commitment. His superiors Mario Wölfle and Jan Teufel emphasized his professional competence and exemplary work ethic.

The Zimmer Group wishes them both all the best for the new phase of their lives, much happiness, joy and the best of health. As a token of appreciation, Gaby Lasch and Wolfgang Lüftner, like all employees who have ever retired from Zimmer Group, are still invited to the summer party and the Christmas party.
