Summer Party 2024
A happy get-together despite the rain.
Last Saturday, July 6, the annual summer party of the Zimmer Group took place and once again became an unforgettable experience for all those involved. The event began at 5:00 p.m. with the admission and ended late at night around 3:00 a.m. The summer party offered the approximately 1,300 guests, including employees from all locations with their family members and former colleagues in retirement, a colorful and varied program.
Jonas Zimmer, CEO of the Zimmer Group, opened the event with a warm welcome. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the event as the highlight of the year and the pleasure of seeing so many people there, which underlines the strong bond and identification of the employees with the Zimmer Group.
Jonas Zimmer also touched on the company's increasing internationalization. With the recently opened plants in India and China, the Zimmer Group is consistently pursuing its expansion strategy of being close to its customers, even abroad, in order to be able to respond quickly and flexibly. "From Germany alone, we cannot meet the increasing local requirements. We are convinced that our locations in Germany, which we have expanded and will continue to expand, will also benefit from this decision," explained Jonas Zimmer, underlining the importance of this development for securing the future of all locations: "We are all one company and we will only succeed together!"
A particular highlight of the evening was the musical entertainment. At 8:00 p.m., the employee band "RockArea" took the stage and created a first wave of good vibes. At 9:00 p.m., the band "Wilde Engel" took over and continued to heat up the guests. The diverse culinary offerings once again left nothing to be desired this year. From the spit-roasted ox from the Schafheitle butcher's shop in Friesenheim to the grilled and pulled pork from the Saier butcher's shop in Rheinbischofsheim, not to mention the tarte flambée from "Marios Mobiler Partyservice" and the pizza from Fratelli – there was something for every taste. The range of drinks was also impressive, with summery drinks, beer, wine from Son Juliana and various coffee specialties.
For the children, there was an extensive entertainment program from SPIELDRACHEN: Spielmobil e.V. Freiburg and Spass-Events from Rheinmünster, which ensured that everyone had a great time.
The Zimmer Group's summer party was a complete success and reflected the family atmosphere and the company's sense of togetherness. The Zimmer Group is already looking forward to next year's summer party and to further shared experiences.
