On Saturday, April 27, Industry 4.0 became a tangible reality for interested young people. The Zimmer Group, a leading company in the automation industry, opened its doors to prospective trainees and students for its big trainee event under the motto #FutureZimmer. With an exciting look behind the scenes, guests were given an insight into the company's various technology areas and career opportunities.
Exclusive insights and personal discussions
The company not only presented its training workshop, but also enabled direct discussions with trainers and trainees. A total of 13 trainers and 23 trainees were on hand to answer questions from over 140 visitors. From machine technology to smart factory solutions - the nine training occupations and three dual study programs presented reflected the diversity and dynamism of the industry.
The event received particular praise for its practical relevance: many young people were able to arrange internships directly on site and thus lay the foundations for a career in the industry. Factory tours rounded off the informative program and provided in-depth insights into the company's production processes.
Family-friendly atmosphere and entertaining supporting program
The trainee event was also characterized by an inviting and family-friendly atmosphere. The accompanying family members were also impressed by the diverse perspectives that the Zimmer Group offers the next generation. Drinks and delicious "Zimmer burgers" from the in-house restaurant and invigorating coffee from "cafésubito" were provided. The event was rounded off by a competition with attractive prizes such as vouchers for Media Markt or Europa-Park.
