New climbing paradise for primary school children

Donation provides a play course in the school playground in Freistett

Climbing, romping, playing - the children at Freistett elementary school have recently been able to enjoy a large climbing frame in the school playground. The purchase was made possible by a donation from Günther Zimmer. He provided 20,000 euros for the project. The investment was met with visible enthusiasm from the pupils. Mayor Oliver Rastetter, Vice Principal Stephanie König and representatives of the community foundation also expressed their thanks at the inauguration for the significant improvement to the school playground.

The remaining donation of 5,000 euros will be used to further improve the playground. The plan is to purchase more benches and play equipment. You can find the detailed press report here.
