17 apprentices start their career as skilled workers at the Zimmer Group

On 13 March, the Zimmer Group officially honoured its apprentices. At the event, the automation specialist and family-owned company recognised the outstanding achievements of the trainees, who excelled in their respective professions as industrial mechanics, IT specialists, mechatronics engineers, toolmakers, machine and plant operators, product designers and in the Plus Mechanical Engineering course.

In recognition of their achievements, the Zimmer Group presented the 17 apprentices with a voucher for Europa-Park. Extraordinary achievements of individual apprentices were also highlighted: Klara Jäger (machine and plant operator), Cynthia Manz (product designer) and Lars-Lennart Junker received a school award and a commendation from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for his excellent bachelor thesis (grade 1.0).

The Zimmer Group is particularly proud of the fact that all trainees are offered permanent employment. The certificates were presented by Jonas Zimmer (Managing Director of Zimmer GmbH) in the presence of the trainers and the management, who in his speech to the young people emphasised the importance of good cooperation and communication for the success of the company: 

"The Zimmer Group is and will remain a family business: You are part of the family. We rely on long-term cooperation so that we can continue to write the company's success story together. Open cooperation and communication are crucial for success. Together, we have a duty to ensure this openness towards each other".
